I grew up surrounded by people with impairments so I was always conscious of having to live a healthy lifestyle and not taking my life for granted. I constantly asked what can I do? It just happened I was also a very artistic kid and a nerd. So today I combine my background in theatre, academics, and fitness while working with marginal populations to teach movement in a way that presents fitness as a human right and a privilege, rather than a product of shame or guilt. I enjoy breaking down complex science into more tangible tidbits that can lead to empowerment, growth and pride.
